Candice Case

Candice Case

Owner, Brains, Brawn & Superhero of This Operation

Candice Case is an entrepreneur who works with businesses and charities to raise money and awareness for their cause and mission. She is passionate about helping others and after working for several start up companies and nonprofit organizations, Candice wanted to use her skills and resources to make a larger impact in the community. While others are overwhelmed with the details that come with planning events and bringing groups together, Candice thrives in this environment and remains focused on the goal. She has an extensive background in fitness and fitness management, marketing and communications, and has earned a Masters of Science in General Administration. Candice’s approach to her work and her life can be summed up in one of her favorite quotes:

“I began to realize how important it was to be an enthusiast in life. If you’re interested in something, no matter what it is, go at it full speed. Embrace it with both arms, hug it, love it, and above all become passionate about it. Lukewarm is no good.” ~ Ronald Dahl.

Christina Roth

Christina Roth

Photographer Extraordinaire

Since falling in love with her Pink Polaroid 600 in the late 1980’s, Christina Roth has been determined to photograph as many captivating moments as possible. Her lifelong passion for photography inspired the launch of Vibrant Photography in 2000. Although her love of composition and capturing photographic emotion was fine tuned many years later, she continues to develop her craft and still gets excited at every opportunity to pick up her camera. Blending fitness and photography, Christina has worked closely with the CrossFit community since 2009, spending time as a Regional and Games volunteer and a contracted writer for the CrossFit Media Team. You can typically find her at CrossFit Northlake, as their resident photographer for monthly community images. She is also a volunteer photographer for various charities across the Carolinas, such as the Charlotte Chapter of Flashes of Hope, Project Momentum Fitness, and the DreamOn3 organization. As a self-proclaimed globetrotter, Christina captures landscape images all around the world in pursuit of a goal to reach all 50 states and 7 continents during her lifetime. When she’s not behind the lens of her favorite camera, she’s likely planning her next adventure or searching for the best coffee in town.

Amy Bright

Amy Bright

Consultant, Kindred Spirit & Favorite PIC

Amy Bright has loved fitness and competition ever since she can remember. Being the youngest of three athletic girls she constantly competed with and tried to keep up with her older sisters in everything they did. Whether it was getting the highest score on a routine in gymnastics or being the fastest one to make it around the neighborhood on a bike, she has always loved the feeling of being active and striving to be the best you can be.

She opened a CrossFit gym in 2012 with her husband, Jason, and loves helping the Charlotte fitness community reach their health and wellness goals through the various group classes offered at the gym.  She also loves partnering with Candice Case to throw on the annual Goddess Games to help women realize their strength and to help support various local nonprofit organizations.

As a working mother, CrossFit works so well for her because it not only gives her great results, but it does so in a short amount of time. She understands the daily struggle among so many working moms to truly “balance it all” and she believes CrossFit is a great fit for those wanting to find that balance. She also loves the example that it sets for her two sons. She cannot imagine a better place for them to be than at a CrossFit gym where they can see people of all ages and from all walks of life, push themselves and reach their goals on a daily basis. As a teacher she believes there is nothing more satisfying than watching people reach their goals, build confidence within themselves and realize their true potential.
